When using the PrizeFiler Kiosk for creating new clients you can define what fields when adding the clients are mandatory for entry.
To set these options go to PrizeFiler > Mandatory Fields for New Clients
You will see all the fields that are displayed on the PrizeFiler screen when entering a new client – with a number of check boxes next to each screen
When the 1st checkbox is ticked – it means the field is mandatory – Profiler will not allow you to create a new client without data being entered into this field
When the 2nd checkbox is ticked – it is called soft-mandatory. On the display it will show a red asterisk when entering a new client on the field, however, Profiler will allow an empty value to be put in there
The 3rd checkbox when ticked will make the field not show on the data entry field.
When all are un-ticked (default) the field will be displayed and not be shown as mandatory and will allow empty values to be entered on the field.
