RAPID Subscriptions/Memberships effective start dates

When processing a membership or subscription via the RAPID integration, we provide the option now for the effective start date of the subscription/membership.

When processing the RAPID payment (after the selection of the client) the field Effective Start Date – this value will be the start date of the membership/subscription, you can set the value in here which will be the begin date, and initial due date of the payment (pre the processing of the payment)

The setup of this section will vary from site to site depending on their membership/subscription set up. Should you need further help, please submit a Profiler Support ticket

This date is initially calculated by looking at the client’s existing membership/subscriptions. If the due date of an existing membership/subscription is less than the current date, the Start Date will automatically be set at the current date (today)

If the client has a membership/subscription that is due into the future (ie. the client might have paid their renewal early), the new membership/subscription Start Date will be set as the Due date of the existing membership/subscription that is in the future.

After the successful processing of the payment, the due date will then be rolled over from the Start Date – for example if the Start Date is set for 01 Sept 2021, and the payment is all then processed, the new due date of the subscription/membership (if it’s a yearly payment) will be 01 Sept 2022.
